The Sportsman Inn, Amberley is looking for a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to run a country pub kitchen serving delicious, freshly-cooked, locally sourced and seasonal produce of the best quality. We are located on the edge of the South Downs National Park near Storrington/Arundel with possibly one of the best views in West Sussex.
• Overseeing food ordering
• Efficient stock control...
• The ability to work within a budget and achieve excellent kitchen GP’s
• You will need to be proficient in managing rotas and keeping your team motivated
• You will be working closely with the FOH manager to maintain a well-run kitchen/restaurant and be inspirational in developing menus and promoting themed events
• Conforming at all times with health and hygiene regulations to maintain our 5 star rating
• Dedicating time to developing and managing your team
• Salary based on experience
• Uniform provided
• Full time position
• 5-day week with various shifts
